Three Looks Using the Coastal Scents Joli Colibri Palette

As you can see, my palette has been well loved!

The Joli Colibri palette from Coastal Scents is one of my all time favorites. I’ve even hit pan on one of the shades which is a huge accomplishment for someone that has more makeup than a lot of people, lol. I feel like this is a bit of a hidden gem because I don’t think I’ve heard anybody else talk about this palette or review it. I reviewed this about a year ago and have linked to it above. I still love it just as much now as I did then. It’s a perfect, cool tone palette that just screams winter to me. I wanted to get more use out of it so I decided to create three looks just using this palette.

These eyeshadows do not have names so I’ll just describe where they are in the palette. I’ll go in the order of the swatches on my hand, left to right and top to bottom. Also, this palette doesn’t swatch the best but it performs wonderfully and that’s all that matters.

If you love berry tones this palette is a must!

  1. I used the muted pink (middle row, second from the left) in my crease.
  2. I deepened the crease with the berry/brown (top row, second from the right).
  3. I used the berry shimmer on my lid (middle row, second from the right).
  4. I used the deepest brown/berry (top row, end right) on my lower lash line.
  5. I used the pink satin/shimmer (top row, end left) in my inner corner.

The blues in this palette are so easy to work with!

  1. I used the pink satin/shimmer (top row, end left) all over my lid and under brow bone.
  2. I used the powder blue (bottom row, end left) in my crease.
  3. I used the brighter blue shimmer (bottom row, second from the left) all over most of my lid and blended up into the powder blue. I smudged this shade on my lower lash line underneath the deeper blue.
  4. I used the deepest blue shimmer (bottom row, second from the right) on the outer part of my lid and blended up into the crease. I lined my lower lash line with this shade as well.
  5. I mixed the lavender shimmer (top row, second from the left), the silver shimmer (middle row, end left) and the pink shimmer (top tow, end left) in my inner corner.

I think I would’ve liked this look better with some black liner on the lower lash line but I still really love it!

  1. I used the pink satin/shimmer (top row, end left) all over my lid and under brow bone.
  2. I used the muted pink (middle row, second from the left) in my crease to soften the hot pink.
  3. I used the hot pink (middle row, end right) all over my lid and up into my crease. I also used the shade on my lower lash line.
  4. I used the silver shimmer (middle row, end left) on the inner part of my lid and crease.

As you can tell, I highly recommend this palette. I also think it’s a great dupe for the Dose of Colors Snow Angels palette that is $32.00 for just four shades. This palette is only $15.00 and Coastal Scents does put it on sale. I’d love to know what you think about this palette and the looks I created! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
