I hope you all had a good November and Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it. I did and of course, I did a little Black Friday shopping. I’ll talk about a few things I bought during the sales below because I hope to have a chance to review them in December. First, though, let’s talk about the holiday themed books I plan to read🎄
Books:
Piper Collins sent me her small town Christmas romance, The Sugarplum Fairy. I thought it looked really cute so I agreed to review it and plan to have that up later this week. I then really want to read Frostbitten Fairy Tales, a collection of stories by Melanie Karsak. I always enjoy her books and I’m a big fan of spooky Christmas stories. I’m also thinking about reading Nutcracker of Crystalfall by Kay L. Moody. I know almost nothing about this but the synopsis sounded interesting. Let me know if there’s any other holiday themed books I need to check out and follow my Goodreads to see everything I’m currently reading!
Beauty:
I discovered an indie makeup brand on Instagram called Ladybug Glow and when I saw that they had a Krampus themed palette, I had to get it. They actually released two but the one called Krampus Eve was my favorite. I am so, so excited to use this and plan for it to be my first review of the month. I also would like to review the BH Cosmetics Passion in Paris Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve had this palette for like two years and never used it🥴 I think the color story is perfect for the winter months and if I don’t get to it in December, I will in January.
I bought the Give Me Glow Cosmetics Christmas Morning Eyeshadow Palette during their Black Friday sale. I really hope it gets here within the next few weeks so I can review it. If it does, these three palettes will be my focus for the month.
I typically do an end of the year beauty favorites but I’m not sure if I’m going to or not. For the first half of the year, I just didn’t do makeup that often. I have used my makeup way more these past few months but I don’t think I’m comfortable calling anything a favorite. I’m debating on doing a post about the best products I’ve tried in 2023. If that sounds interesting to you, please let me know!
