During the 2023 Black Friday sale, I placed my first ever Fantasy Cosmetica order. This brand’s whole vibe is games, books and just nerd culture in general. That is so unbelievably perfect for me, especially when it’s combined with makeup. I had a really hard time choosing what to buy but I settled on the Fighter Eyeshadow Palette, the Druid Eyeshadow Palette and a Lost Library Lipstick in Buried. I’m going to review the Fighter Palette alone today and will do the Druid Palette and Lost Library Lipstick very soon.

The Fighter Eyeshadow Palette is $39.00 and contains nine shades: four mattes, four shimmers and one multichrome. It has cardboard packaging with a mirror and a firm magnetic closure. One thing I really love about this brand is all of their palettes are magnetic and you can purchase each shadow as a single. I wish all brands would provide singles as an option because if you really love one shade in the palette and use it up, you can just repurchase that one shadow. I wanted to include that here because I feel it goes along with the packaging details but now let’s get into the pros and cons!
Pros:
- This color story is so interesting. It’s neutral but not the typical neutral shades. I think the yellow and gray really make it stand out.
- Almost all of the mattes performed well. They weren’t overly pigmented so I did have to build them up but that’s not a con for me. I prefer a less pigmented matte because they’re easier to use. I really enjoyed Cavalier and Valor.
- The multichrome shade, Glory, is a stunner. It’s such a transformative shade that can be layered over almost anything. It works will with every other shimmer and matte in the palette.
- The shimmers were all beautiful. They’re not super sparkly or anything like that but they have a beautiful shine. They look smooth on the lids and are easy to work with. Victory and Blade were my absolute favorites.
Cons:
- I found the shade Warrior to be patchy and hard to blend.
Swatches & Shade Descriptions:
These eyeshadows do have names and shade descriptions so I will copy them from the brand’s website. I’ll be going from left to right, top row to bottom row. These photos were taken with flash to show off the sparkle.

- Cavalier– matte true gray
- Glory– multi chrome mix of blue and gold sparkles that shift to pink and blue sparkles with a yellow brown base
- Valor– matte dusty yellow
- Blade– silver with green and purple shifting sparkles
- Fervor– red with silver sparkles
- Victory– brown with pink and silver sparkles
- Warrior– matte deep gray
- Might– deep brown purple with gold sparkles
- Martial– matte mid tone brown

Eyeshadow Looks:
I created three looks using this palette. I love them all but the second is my favorite! I don’t always wear an eye primer but I do set my base with a cream colored shadow.
- I blended Valor into my inner crease and applied it on my water line.
- I deepened my crease with Martial and applied it on my outer lid. I also smudged it on my lower lash line.
- I applied Victory on my lid.
- I applied Glory in my inner corner.
- I blended Cavalier into my inner crease and above my entire crease.
- I blended Valor in a semi arch shape above Cavalier and closest to my nose. I also smudged it on my lower lash line.
- I deepened my crease with Warrior and applied it on my water line.
- I applied Blade on my lid.
- I applied Glory on my inner lid and in my inner corner.
- I blended Cavalier into my inner crease.
- I deepened my crease with Warrior and applied it on my water line.
- I applied Fervor on my lid and topped it with Glory.
- I applied Blade in my inner corner.
- I lightly applied Might on the outer part of my lid and smudged it on my lower lash line.

This is an absolutely beautiful palette and I’m so glad that I chose it. I’m excited to play with the Druid now so keep an eye out for that review. If you’ve tried this brand, let me know what you love from them! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
