Looxi Beauty is an indie makeup brand that has been a staple for me for many years. I have talked about them repeatedly here on the blog and on my Instagram. Their matte formula is my favorite and some of their shimmers are literally the most special ones that I own. Looxi offered a fantastic formula while charging just $3.00 per shadow; this brand was truly a gem in the single eyeshadow world. Unfortunately, it’s now time to say goodbye.

At the beginning of May 2024, Looxi sent out emails saying that they were doing an inventory sell off. They were offering some older and never released shadows for $1.50 apiece because they were going to be changing their manufacturing process and needed to get rid of the excess product. You can see exactly what they said on their Instagram here. I purchased around $22.00 worth of shadows and honestly forgot about them… until recently.

I came across a Reddit post saying that the Looxi website was gone and sure enough, it was. I then went to their Instagram where TONS of people were commenting that they had not received their orders and were not receiving answers to emails. Looxi has had terrible customer service for years but as far as I’m aware, people have always gotten their orders, even if it took a long time. What is truly shocking, however, is that the brand has yet to say anything. 

As of today, June 24th 2024, I have disputed the order with my bank and I hope to receive a refund. Even if Looxi does return, I will no longer be supporting them. This level of unprofessionalism and at this point, thievery, is completely uncalled for. I will still use my single shadows because I bought them and I do love them but I will not support the brand in any other way. If you have had any issues with Looxi Beauty, feel free to share below.
