Goodbye August and goodbye summer! No, I don’t care that it’s still hot outside, it’s fall in my head😌 August has been such a busy month. My son and I both had birthdays and my baby started preschool😭 Now that he’s in school, though, I feel like I have a bit more time to dedicate to this blog again so let’s talk about what I hope to do in September!
Books:
I read almost nothing this past month so my TBR is still exactly the same. I have started reading both The Thirteenth Child by Erin A. Craig and The Girl From Rawblood by Catriona Ward. I’m not sure which one I will finish first but both will be reviewed this month. I also hope to get to Spindles and Thorns by Melanie Karsak. I always love her books and I’m sure this one will be excellent. If you’re not, follow me over on Goodreads to see everything I’m currently reading and see reviews for books I don’t post about here.
Beauty:
I bought the Til Death and Carnevil Eyeshadow Palettes from the UK indie brand, Jolie Beauty. I’m finished testing out Til Death and it will be my first review of the month. I do have a few issues with it but overall, it’s a stunning palette and one of my favorites that I own. As for the Carnevil, I’m not super into bright colors anymore but it was just absolutely too perfect for the spooky season for me not to buy it.
I also purchased a few things during the latest Sydney Grace sale and ordered from Pretties For Your Face for the first time! I’m keeping my eye on all of the new fall releases, as well.
