I know this isn’t a super popular opinion in the makeup world but I LOVE Makeup Revolution. Their products almost always work so well for me. As an added bonus, they’re one of the few brands who are still affordable and are always coming out with fun releases. The palette I’m going to review today, the Reloaded Dimension Neutral Charm, is an absolute new favorite.

The Reloaded Dimension Neutral Charm is $8.00 and contains ten shades: five mattes and five metallics. The packaging is cheap plastic that could break easily but it does click firmly shut. The matte eyeshadow pans have a lovely floral embossing that I think is such a nice touch for a palette that is so affordable. With the basic info out of the way, let’s talk pros and cons!
Pros:
- This color story is very neutral with some shades leaning a bit more warm and others leaning more cool. While it’s nothing super creative, I find it to be a perfect staple palette, especially since it has a matte cream and matte deep brown.
- All of the mattes were a dream to work with. They all blended and built up easily.
- The metallics are BEAUTIFUL. Some are smooth while others have more sparkle but they’re all beautiful and easy to work with.
- The matte mauve shade makes a beautiful blush and the lighter metallics are perfect as highlighters. This would be an excellent palette to travel with. I’m using the mauve shade and the lightest metallic as blush and highlighter in my second look below.
Cons:
- The metallic gold shade had a decent amount of fallout but it wasn’t terrible.
Swatches & Shade Descriptions:
These eyeshadows do have names but they’re just numbers and they have no shade descriptions so I will describe them to the best of my ability. I’ll be going from left to right, top row to bottom row. These photos were taken with flash to show off the sparkle.

- 1– matte cream
- 2-metallic white gold
- 3– metallic champagne
- 4– matte tan with a pink undertone
- 5– matte mauve
- 6– metallic rose gold
- 7– metallic copper
- 8– matte brown with a yellow/orange undertone
- 9– matte deep brown
- 10– metallic brown with a purple undertone
Eyeshadow Looks:
I created two looks using this palette. I really love them both and they were each so easy to do. I don’t always wear an eye primer but I do set my base with a cream colored shadow.
- I set my base with shade 1.
- I blended shade 4 into my inner crease.
- I blended shade 8 throughout my crease,
- I deepened my crease with shade 9 and smudged it on my lower lash line.
- I applied shade 7 over the majority of my lid.
- I applied shade 6 on my inner lid.
- I applied shade 3 in my inner corner.
- I also smudged shade 10 on my lower lash line.
- I set my base with shade 1.
- I blended shade 5 all over my lid and throughout my crease.
- I applied shade 3 on my lid.
- I applied shade 2 in my inner corner.
- I applied shade 10 on my lower lash line.

Final Thoughts:
I know it’s easy to look at the $8.00 price and the cheap packaging and assume this palette wouldn’t be good but it is excellent! I would choose to use it just as fast as I would any of my others. If you’ve been looking for a staple neutral palette, I recommend this one. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
