✨This is a sponsored post. I was sent the products in exchange for my honest thoughts and paid for creating content.
I am so unbelievably excited to say that this post is sponsored by J.Cat Beauty! If you’ve been around my blog or Instagram for any length of time, you’ll know that their Skinsurance Foundation and Staysurance Concealer are the most used products in my entire makeup collection. When they reached out and offered to send me their new Skinewal Line, I had to say yes. However, though this post is sponsored, I made it clear to the brand that I would be honest and they were completely fine with that.
I have only had these products for a few days so I can’t give a full review. I have used them enough, though, to share my first impressions and the basic info about the line. After using everything for a few weeks, I will let you know my full thoughts. With that, let’s get into it!
The Skinewal Hydra Toning Essence is $14.99 and you get 6.76 fluid ounces of product. It’s described as a breakthrough toner/essence hybrid to soothe skin of any irritation. It’s engineered to improve the skin’s natural bio-lipids and optimizes the skin barrier with a rush of hydration to help plump skin texture, visibly increasing smoothness and providing a “glass skin” glow. I have really been enjoying this so far. It gives the skin a beautiful, hydrated look. My only slight complaint is with the strong, perfume like fragrance. As of right now, it has not harmed my skin but I will share if that changes.
The Skinewal Hydra Serum Booster is $14.99 and you get 1.69 fluid ounces of product. It has a dropper, which I prefer for applying serums. It’s described as being infused with skincare powerhouses like panthenol and sodium hyaluronate. This serum delivers potent hydration and elasticity back into the skin without the stickiness. This serum functions very similarly to the Hydra Toning Essence. It adds a bit of moisture to the skin and leaves behind a glow. It does, however, have the same fragrance as the toner.
The Skinewal Water Gel Moisturizer is $16.99 and you get 5.07 fluid ounces of product. It uses panthenol, licorice root extract and centella asiatica to hydrate. This is a thin moisturizer and would be perfect for those with oily skin. My skin tends to be more combo/dry so I like to follow it up with a thicker moisturizer. As with the previous two products, I’m greatly enjoying this one. It is also fragranced but less so than the other two and has more of a clean, less perfume like, scent.
The Skinewal Energizing Hydra Cream is $18.99 and contains 1.69 fluid ounces of product. This moisturizer has a whipped texture that I enjoy. It’s described as being a multitasking powerhouse that provides a surge of moisture and anti-aging benefits. It’s engineered to promote skin regeneration and elevate elasticity by using bakuchiol (a safe retinol derivative), centella asiatica and shea butter. It also claims to soothe sensitive skin while visibly smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, all while locking in essential hydration. It’s too early for me to say but this moisturizer might be my favorite product in the line. It’s not too thin or thick and while it is fragranced, it’s the least so of the line.
When reviewing skincare, I think it’s important to share my skin type and what my skin actually looks like. I have combo to dry skin with hormonal acne and scarring. Since this skincare line is geared primarily toward hydration, I will still be using my salicylic acid and niacinamide while testing these products out. However, other than those two products, I will be using this skincare line alone for the next few weeks.
Final Thoughts:
I would like to say thank you to J.Cat Beauty for sponsoring this post! To have one of my favorite brands not only notice me but want to work with me is just incredible. Keep an eye out for my follow up post in a few weeks and let me know if you plan to try anything from the line! Thanks for reading!
