This is a sponsored post. I was sent the products in exchange for my honest thoughts and paid for creating content.
A couple of weeks ago I shared my first impressions of the J.Cat Beauty Skinewal Line. The brand sent me these products to review and fortunately, other than a few minor issues, I have been very pleased with everything in the line. I shared the prices, product details and my first impressions in my original post so if you’re interested in that, you can find it all here. Let’s get into my final thoughts for each product!
The Skinewal Hydra Toning Essence is my second favorite product in the line. This toner creates a beautiful, hydrated looking base. I mentioned in my first impressions that it is quite strongly fragranced but that has not negatively impacted my skin.
The Skinewal Hydra Serum Booster would have to be my third favorite but it’s honestly pretty close to the Hydra Toning Essence in my ranking. When layered on top of the toner, it just slightly bumps up the hydration. If you have dry skin, these two layered together will be very beneficial.
Coming in at last place in my ranking is the Skinewal Water Gel Moisturizer. This isn’t a bad product, I’m just not sure if it’s necessary in my personal skincare routine. It’s a very thin, lightweight moisturizer that would work well for those with oily skin. My skin type is combo/dry so I would always need to pair this with other moisturizing products. I also had some dry, irritated skin while testing these out and I noticed that this moisturizer slightly stung that irritated skin. None of the other products in the line did that. Simply based on that experience, I think those with oily and not sensitive skin would benefit from this the most.
First place has to go the Skinewal Energizing Hydra Cream! This cream has a fantastic whipped texture that sinks easily into the skin. It’s not too thick or too thin and I had no issues with it disrupting my makeup. It’s also the least scented of the line so if you are sensitive to fragrance, you’ll want to go with this one.

The brand sent over this helpful diagram explaining the order and how each product should be used. I followed this exactly, with the addition of niacinamide and salicylic acid. My skin type is combo/dry with hormonal acne so I needed to still use those other products.
Final Thoughts:
The Skinewal Line works well and does what it claims to do; hydrates and creates a “glass skin” glow. Theses products also wear well under makeup, which is super important to me. Whether or not you need the entire line will just depend on your skin type and preferences but I have greatly enjoyed using these products.
I would like to once again say thank you to J.Cat Beauty for sponsoring this post! I have a deep love for this brand and always enjoy trying out what they create. Let me know if you plan to try anything from the line! As always, thanks for reading!
That’s fascinating
