I didn’t plan to disappear for the entire month of April but life happened🙃 I accidentally got niacinamide around my eyes and gave myself a wicked chemical burn. I’ve did makeup maybe twice since then and couldn’t even attempt eyeshadow. After a full month, it’s finally almost healed. Along with that, I was in a massive reading slump. If I’m not doing makeup and not reading, that means nothing happens here. However, I’m feeling better so hopefully May will be back to normal. Let’s talk about what I hope to do!
Books:

A book I am VERY excited to read is Sword of a Valkyrie by Melanie Karsak. This is book two in The Vinland to Valhalla series. I have reviewed the first book, Heart of a Valkyrie, and loved it. If you’re into historical fantasy, this is an excellent series. You can follow my Goodreads to see what I’m currently reading!
Beauty:
My beauty picks for this month are the same as last month since I didn’t get to use them. I’m almost finished testing out the Sydney Grace Love’s Journey Eyeshadow Palette and that review will be up very soon. After that, I’m not sure what I will do. I’d like to test out the Nomad Cosmetics Ghost Town USA Eyeshadow Palette but I’ve also been really into my single shadows lately and may do something with them. Let me know what you would most like to see reviewed and follow my Instagram to see it all there first!
Thank you!

I hope April was better for you than it was for me! Let me know what you have planned for May! If you would like, you can follow me here, Instagram and Goodreads. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
I’m glad your eye is almost cleared up! I’m actually reading books which is very exciting!

I feel you, have you thought about doing a reread?

There’s a bunch I want to reread but then I think, what if I miss out on reading something new and awesome?🥲

That makes sense but maybe a reread is what you need to enjoy all the exciting and new books!
