Flower Beauty is a hit or miss brand for me but I’m typically interested in their releases. I decided to try out their new Get Real Serum Concealer because it seemed like one I would enjoy. I also picked up another of their Perfect Pout Moisturizing Lipsticks, which I already know I love. Let’s talk about the concealer first because oh boy, it’s bad.
The Get Real Serum Concealer is $12.00 and contains 0.33 fluid ounces of product. It’s packaged in a squeeze tube type bottle but has a doe foot applicator. There are twelve shades available and I have Vanilla. There are no shade descriptions (that I can find) but I would say Vanilla is fair with warm undertones. The shade range is trash and there are no truly deep shades.
Along with the shade range, the formula is also trash. It claims to brighten, blur, and smooth skin with medium to buildable coverage. I found it to have light coverage that isn’t buildable. It looks horrendous on acne because not only does it not provide coverage, it looks cakey on top of the acne. It creased no matter what I set it with and just generally looked horrible. However, I have seen NO negative reviews so apparently I’m the only one who feels this way. If you have lines, acne or anything other than perfectly normal skin, I do not recommend this concealer.
The Perfect Pout Moisturizing Lipstick is $11.00 and I bought the shade Blossom. I also have the shades Blush Rose and Jasmine, you can see my review for them here. I want to talk about the price first. Since I bought the other two at the end of 2022, the price has went up $2.00. I was so shocked when I checked the price and saw $11.00… do not pay that. This formula is great. It’s comfortable and moisturizing but not long lasting. It’s one of my favorite formulas and I do recommend it but wait for a sale. Makeup goes on sale way too often to ever pay full, inflated prices.
Final Thoughts:
These products have further confirmed that Flower Beauty continues to be a hit or miss brand. I feel this way even more so now after checking the Ulta site and seeing that ALL of the Flower Beauty products have went up in price by $2.00 or more. This brand is just not worth high end prices, in my opinion, and that’s where they seem to be going. Actually, any time I hear anything about this brand, it’s a negative review! I appreciate the positivity at the end–but I feel like they could do better overall from what I’m seeing.

They definitely could, especially at the higher prices! Their cream/liquid products never work for me.
