I never thought I would say this but Makeup Revolution currently makes my favorite eyeshadow formula; primarily their Forever Flawless line. I’m slowly collecting the ones I really love and my favorite (so far) is the Regal Romance. I’ve heard that this palette is based off the Bridgerton Netflix series and if so, it really represents the show well. The royal theming and feminine color story are just perfect.

This palette is $15.00. It contains eighteen shades: five mattes and thirteen metallics/shimmers. The packaging is made of tin, has a mirror and a firm clasp closure. I personally love the tin packaging, but some may not. With the basic info out of the way, let’s talk pros and cons!
Pros:
- I absolutely love the theme of this palette. Everything from the packaging to the rose imprints on the matte shades makes it feel special.
- I like that this is mainly a metallic/shimmer palette. In my day to day life, I typically blend one shimmer all over the lid, put another in my inner corner and that’s it. This palette is perfect to use for those simple looks because the shades are light and easy to apply with just a finger.
- The mattes were all super easy to work with, even the vibrant shades.
- Makeup Revolution makes some truly special shimmer and metallic shadows. The shades Soft, Queen, Courting, Sweet and Regency were my favorites.
Cons:
- It is impossible to deepen a look using this palette alone. I do wish there was at least one deep metallic or matte.
- While all the shadows have different undertones, the lightest shimmers, Soft and Sweet, and the mattes, Peach and Duke, are almost indistinguishable when applied.
