I didn’t mean to skip my April Wrap Up but the last two months have been SO incredibly busy, with good and bad things. We lost a close family member to cancer, went out of town for a wedding, went on vacation and just had to keep up with life. I love doing these end of the month posts for myself, honestly, so I had to make sure to get one up for May! Books:
I haven’t been in a reading slump but I also haven’t been planning out my reads in advance. I finish one book and then just see what I’m in the mood for next. I’ve really been searching for some great historical fiction but last month’s Blood & Beauty by Sarah Dunant was pretty disappointing. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to have them! Other than that, I’m currently reading Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge and loving it. I’ll have a review up for it next week. Beauty:
First review of the month will be for the gorgeous Makeup Revolution Nude Silk Eyeshadow Palette. I’ll go ahead and say now that I absolutely love it. I know this brand doesn’t have the best reputation but almost everything I try from them works so well for me. This palette has been all I have wanted to use lately and it’s literally $15.00. Next up will be the Erborian BB Creme and I think this is another winner like their CC Red Correct. I hate that this brand is so pricy because I love everything from them🙃 After that, I have a collection of random products that I plan to review.
