I have been growing bored with my blog for a very long time. I still love writing. I also still love books and makeup but my content, primarily the beauty content, isn’t working. Makeup is so fun to buy, swatch and review. I truly enjoy it but makeup is something that expires. It also takes up a lot of space and can be pricy. I buy everything myself and I simply can’t keep up with the releases or with testing out products at the same rate others do. These reasons are why I’ve decided to cut back my beauty content and introduce lifestyle content.
I have always been very interested in lifestyle and wellness content. I actually used to post my own here; talking about PCOs and my infertility journey. I won’t lie, those posts did TERRIBLY😂 I didn’t want to waste my time so I stopped but I’m at the point now where I want to do what I want. This is my hobby, not my job. So, what can you expect in the future?
I’ve been VERY busy working on new ideas and I have a few that I’d like to share with you all. You can expect to see posts about my experience with weight loss medication, my diet now, my favorite cookbooks and what supplements I take for my PCOs.
My book content really won’t change, except to hopefully improve. I’d like to get more creative with it but I’m still working on ideas. There will also still be PLENTY of beauty content. I have a lot of makeup that I want to review and I’m sure I will buy more in the future, but I have slowed my purchasing wayyy down. I hope by cutting my beauty content back, I can focus on making it even better and more creative.
I was going to change my blog’s name to reflect the change in content but I have decided to leave it. One, I love it and two, I feel like there is beauty to be found in more than just makeup. I did spruce things up around here with a new layout, though!

The Book and Beauty Blog 
For me, these types of blogs have always been more relevant than any other places I looked up for e review. People share more genuine thoughts and don’t focus on the new release, unlike the fast tempo of some other places. I have seen downfall of this place when it comes to beauty. Even though this blog has been my “I just want to share a thought” type of hobby, even I have shifted and experimented. Unfortunately, the prompts have ruined it a bit because that content seems to do better than a genuine post.
I will always search for the blog posts for a product I want to buy, especially because when I am in a store I want a quick review that I can read and not a video that I can’t play if I am not wearing my headphones.
