I’m always so sad to see October go but I do love November and December just as much. This has been a very good month for me and I hope it has been for all of you as well. Let’s get into what I have planned for November!
Books
I typically like to have my book reviews planned out for most of the month, if not the whole month, but I haven’t been able to do that for November. I had an author contact me about reviewing their books, I agreed and then they never sent me the books. I’m still waiting to see what happens with that and if they send me the books in time, I’ll review them in the first two weeks of the month. I do plan to read Lost: Cinderella’s Secret Witch Diaries by Ron Vitale but the Goodreads reviews for it are pretty bad so I’m not sure if I’ll actually review it. I have plenty of books to choose from so reviews will go up, I’m just not sure what will actually be reviewed.
Makeup & Skincare
So… I completely smashed my low buy this month. It all started with the Colourpop Disney Collection. I had passed on their two previous collabs with Disney but this one CALLED to me. I ended up buying the Horse & Carriage Highlighter and Enchanted Mirror Blush. I was actually surprised to find that nothing I own was a perfect dupe for either of these and I love them so I have no regrets. Of course, I wasn’t going to pay shipping and I had a $5.00 off coupon so I grabbed the Strawberry Shake Palette and Belle Lux Lipstick. Again, no regrets because they’re beautiful and unique to my collection.
However, the shopping spree didn’t stop there. I apparently needed to annihilate my low buy. I discovered Lorac Cosmetics and fell in love. I’ve tried things from Lorac in the past but I had never tried their eyeshadows. The Shine Bright Eyeshadow Palette was on sale for $25.00, regularly priced at $49.00, so I grabbed it. Then I had an Ulta 20% off coupon and $9.00 off in points so the Lux Diamond Palette came home with me too. I would be lying if I said that their mini holiday palettes weren’t calling my name as well…
I would love to have your feedback on what you could like to see reviewed first. I am planning to review the Morphe 25B Palette the first Monday of the month and every Friday I’m reviewing a different foundation, like I did in October. Besides that, I’m open to suggestions!
Video Game
November’s video game review will be for number ten in my Dark Parables series, Dark Parables: Goldilocks and the Fallen Star. I played this game years ago and I don’t remember much about it so I’m looking forward to playing it again.
Thank you!
