August Wrap Up!

August has been… absolutely wild. I became a mother this month! If you haven’t read my post introducing my son, I highly recommend you do so or else you’re going to be a little lost. I also talked about my new blogging schedule in that post but I’ll mention it again down at the bottom of this one. Things are more than a little crazy right now so I can’t make any kind of true commitment to getting specific posts up. However, I can let you know what I’d like to do in September.

Books:

My review for Pieces of Sky by Kaki Warner is already written and scheduled to go up. I would also like to review the other two books in the trilogy, Open Country and Chasing the Sun. Of course, whether or not I actually get them read and reviewed is solely dependent on my newborn. I’m also reading Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer but it’s a MASSIVE book and to be honest, I’m not loving it so I’m not sure when a review for it will be up.

Makeup & Skincare:

To be honest, I haven’t worn a full face of makeup in weeks. I’ve been too busy, it’s too hot and I’m always wearing a mask. There are a few products that I’ve been using quite often, though. One is the Lorac Lux Diamond Golden Hour Palette and the others are the L.A. Girl Shockwave Neon Eyeliners. My goal is to have reviews up for these products and possibly a skincare related post. I recently started dry brushing using this brush from Eco Tools and I LOVE it. I want to talk about it as soon as possible.

Lifestyle:

I’m reusing this picture from last month’s wrap up because I haven’t had much time to think about my lifestyle content. However, I DO have quite a few ideas. I would love to start including baby/motherhood related posts along with the cleaning and recipes. I hope to start really working on this part of my blog as soon as possible because I’m very excited about it.

Thank you!

My new schedule will be posts every Friday throughout September and then (hopefully) every Monday and Friday starting in October. This is totally dependent on what is happening with my son and my stress levels, though. As always, thank you for the support. My little blog is now up to 766 followers. If you’d like, you can also follow me on InstagramTwitterFacebookGoodreads or Pinterest. I hope you all have a wonderful September! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
