December, and 2021, are at an end. This year has had its ups and downs but I have been so very blessed. My son turned one and it has been pure joy to watch him grow; and honestly, to grow into myself as a mother. My blog has also grown this year and I am so very appreciative for all of you that have joined me. Of course, I’m busy making plans for the new year so let’s talk about January!

Books:

My first book related post of the new year will be about my most anticipated reads for 2022. I had hoped to get that up before 2021 ended but I ran out of time. After that, I’ll be reviewing The Night’s Chosen by E.E. Hornburg. This book was a five star read so the year is starting off strong! I’m not sure what I’ll read next but some possibilities are Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen or The Curse That Binds Us by Katie Hayoz. Let me know if there’s one in particular you want to see reviewed first! I’m also trying to put up more book related content on Tiktok. As of right now, it’s just fun, bookish aesthics but I hope to do more in the coming year. 

Beauty:

I have been trying out SO much skincare from Pacifica. I’m finally ready to review what’s pictured above so that will be coming in the next week or so. I’ll also be reviewing all of the essence products pictured and hopefully, the Lorac Fairytale Forest Eyeshadow Palette. I haven’t been wearing makeup much lately but I hope to have more time for it soon. The best way to see what I’m trying and let me know what you want reviewed first is by following my Instagram.
