The January Wrap Up!

The first month of 2017 is coming to a close and it has flown by!  I wanted to do just a chatty post and review my January. I plan to do these posts at the end of every month so I can look back and see what I accomplished and whatever major events happened that month.

January was good to me. I mean nothing life changing happened but it was a happy and productive month. As far as this blog goes, I’m up to 73 posts! It amazes me that I’ve written that much. This has been such a great creative outlet for me and I plan to keep doing it for a long time. Also, I have got eighteen blog followers as of right now. I know that’s not much, but seeing as the majority of that is people that don’t know me personally, shocks me. I’m honestly surprised you like reading my rambling opinions haha. If you have liked, commented on or followed my blog, thank you so much!

My personal life has been great this month as well. My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary which I am, of course, very happy about. I’ve also stayed on track with my diet and exercising this month better than I ever have. I’m doing a low carb diet and just trying to do as much cardio as possible, but I fell short on that. I only exercised eight times this month, which is about twice a week. My goal was to work out three times a week but at least it’s an improvement from the zero amount of exercising I was doing in previous months. I have not lost any weight yet. I’m trying to not let that get me down because even though I haven’t lost weight, I feel so much better. I’m going to keep at it and hopefully next month I can say I worked out more and lost a little weight. Last, as far as my personal life, my dad had a birthday. I am so blessed to have both of my parents in my life and to be as close to them as I am. My dad reads everything I post so, Happy Birthday, Dad, I love you!

Well guys that’s pretty much it. January wasn’t too exciting but sometimes that’s a good thing. It was just a nice, peaceful start to the year. As for February, it’s either going to be the best month or pretty crappy. At the very beginning of February, in just a few days, I’m having a minor medical procedure to helps with some PCOs related issues. It’s nothing serious but I just really want a good outcome from it and that may not happen. I plan to do a full post about it later. I hope all of you have had a wonderful January and have an even better February. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
