Merry Christmas my friends! This isn’t any kind of review. It’s just a quick post about what I’m doing for the holidays and I would love if you would tell me what you’re doing! As you’re reading this I am at my third out of FIVE family gatherings and that’s not even including when just my husband and myself had our Christmas alone at home. We did that this past Thursday. I cooked a huge breakfast and dinner, we exchanged gifts with each other and gave our pets their gifts. It was so nice just being home all day together and I love having these traditions for just us as a couple.

Earlier in the week James, my husband, told me to be ready by a certain time that evening so that he could take me on a surprise date. We went to a beautiful place in Alabama called Rickwood Caverns. They had the caverns fully decorated for Christmas and it was gorgeous. We love hiking and anything to do with being outside so I want to go back and further explore in the spring. Next, he took me to a restaurant I hadn’t been to before and then we went to a drive thru Christmas light event where the lights were synchronized to music. It was so much fun and so romantic. I definitely married a keeper.
