August Wrap Up!

August is at an end and I am so glad to see it go. Not that it was a bad month, it was actually really good, but now we’re going into the ‘ber months! From September to December I am the happiest. I love the cold and all the holidays these next few months bring. I’m also super excited about everything I plan to do here on the blog so let’s get into that!

Makeup

My birthday was this month and I was able to do quite a bit of shopping. I’ve already reviewed a few things I bought but I have many more reviews coming up this month. I bought two more Juvia’s Place palettes, the Masquerade Palette and the Magic Palette. Those were the last two I wanted from the brand and I’ve been having so much fun playing with them. I’ve also been trying out NYX’s new Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Foundation, that review will be up this coming Monday. NYX also graciously sent me a package with a few things to test out and I had already bought a ton of their products so this is going to be the month for NYX reviews around here. I’ve also got some new things from e.l.f. and BH Cosmetics. Of course, I’m sure I’ll do more shopping in September so there will be plenty to tell you all about!

Books

I have been reading like mad this month! There has just been so many good books come into my life. This coming Wednesday I will be taking part in a blog tour for What the Flower Says of Death by Danielle Koste. I’m very appreciative that she asked me to participate in it and I can’t wait to share my review! I also recently discovered Sarah J. Maas and the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I am absolutely obsessed with it and my review for the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury, will be up in two weeks. Another author whose books I’ve fallen in love with is Colleen Coble. She writes historical fiction, one of my favorite genres, so expect to see her books around here often. My TBR list is never ending so I’m pretty stocked up on books for the next year, at least, lol.

Life & Fitness

As I mentioned above, my birthday was this month. I turned twenty-six and I’m thankful to have been given another year of life. I’m going to try my hardest to make this coming year healthier and more productive than twenty-five was. I’ve started back on my low-carb diet and going to the gym on a regular basis. I’m planning to do some blog posts around those topics and my PCOs because my PCOs is greatly affected by diet and exercise.  I hope writing about that might help some of you if you’re dealing with something similar.

Thank you!

I reached over 300 followers on here this month. I am just amazed that there’s that many of you and I appreciate it so much. If you would like to you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter. I usually post on each of those every day. I would love to get to know all of you so don’t be afraid to send me a message with any comments or suggestions! Thank you again for following me and I hope your September is even better than your August was. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
