I feel like November went by in like five seconds. If you celebrated Thanksgiving this month I hope that it was wonderful and I hope that all of you had a good November in general. Mine was good but now I’m super excited to be going into my favorite month of the year, December! I’m really looking forward to (and have already started working on) all of my year end posts so let me tell you a little about what’s coming up!
Books
My assistant is always helping with pictures behind the scenes.
I have started the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and spoiler, I’m LOVING it. This series has eight books in it so I will be reviewing those all the way through January. My review for the first book, Throne of Glass, is already up if you’d like to read it. I will also be reviewing A Christmas Story by Jean Shepherd, the book that inspired the holiday classic movie released in 1983. Nothing makes me happier than good books and I can’t wait to share my thoughts on these with all of you! I’ll also be sharing my favorite books that I reviewed throughout 2018 on the last Wednesday in December.
Makeup & Skincare
I’ve been on a strict makeup no buy since before Thanksgiving. I didn’t even buy anything during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales which is amazing for me. Pictured above is the few things I had purchased before my no buy. Everything except for the Morphe 35V palette will be reviewed this coming month. The palette is so large that it will probably take me until January to really put every shade to the test. The Joli Colibri palette, the picture on the right, is one I’ve reviewed before. I really wanted to get more use out of it because it’s one of my favorites so I’ll be showing you three looks I made with just this palette this coming Monday. Also, every Friday in December I’ll be posting my end of the year favorites for every possible type of makeup with some skincare and application tools.
As for skincare, I will be seeing a dermatologist in December. I promised a skincare update months ago but nothing I’ve tried has helped my skin so I’m finally going to see a professional. After I find out what my skin really needs I’ll do an updated skincare routine.
Thank you!
I am so thankful for each and every one of you! If you’d like to keep up with me better you can follow me on Instagram and Twitter! I post most often on Instagram but I’m on Twitter a lot as well. I love hearing from you whether that be in the comments here or on my other social medias so don’t be afraid to reach out. Also, if there’s something you want to see reviewed don’t hesitate to ask! I hope that December is even better for you than November was. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
