September Wrap Up!

It’s finally time for my favorite month of the year, October! Christmas is my favorite holiday but there’s something about the fall season that is just perfect to me. I always look forward to planning out my blog posts for October so let’s talk about what I have planned so far!

Of course, I had to pick some spookyyy reads for the month. Unless something changes, I’ll be reviewing Night Stone by Rick Hautala, Pin by Andrew Neiderman, Needful Things by Stephen King and then The Hitchhiker, Hit and Run and Halloween Night, all by R.L. Stine. That is the order I plan to review them in and the three R.L. Stine books will be reviewed on the same day since they’re pretty short. Feel free to let me know what you think about the books I’ve chosen!

I have been testing out new makeup like crazy to get ready for this month! I’m planning to do something that I’m calling “Foundation Fall.” Every Friday in October I’ll be reviewing a new (to me) foundation. I’ll also add in anything else I might have from that particular brand to review along with the foundations. I’m planning to review the new ShopMissA Satin Foundation, new Burt’s Bees Tinted Moisturizer and the Catrice HD Foundation. I’m also testing out the J. Cat Beauty Aquasurance Powder Foundation but I’m pretty sure I won’t be ready to talk about it until November. As for palettes, my review of the Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts will be ready in about a week and I’m planning to review the Morphe 25B but that could change. I’ve also got multiple new lip products (of course) and other fun things to tell you about during this lovely fall season. Let me know what you’re most excited to see reviewed!

Video Games

I’m taking a break from my Dark Parables series this month to review Goosebumps The Game. I absolutely love this game! It’s appropriate for ages 10 and up, as you would expect, but I’m not going to lie, some of the puzzles in this really stumped me, lol. It’s filled with nostalgia and Goosebumps easter eggs. If you’re interested in seeing a play through of this on Youtube before I review it, this one by Jonh Wolfe is excellent. I’m so excited to review this and create a Goosebumps inspired makeup look!

Thank you!

You may have noticed a slight change around the blog… I have ads now! Thanks to all of you, WordPress has allowed me to enable ads. They honestly look pretty tacky but I removed the ones that were messing with the layout of my posts too much and I hope that they don’t bother any of you. I’m currently at 560 followers on here and I appreciate you all so much. Along with following me here, you can follow my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, if you’d like. I hope you all are as excited for October as I am! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
