Flower Beauty Gel Crush Lip & Cheek Stick Review

Today’s review for the Flower Beauty Gel Crush Lip & Cheek Stick is going to be pretty short because I just don’t have much to say about it. It is $10.00 for 0.33 ounces of product. It’s currently available in three shades and I have the shade Blackberry Crush. Every stick is lightly scented and mine smells like berries; I’m unsure if the different sticks have different scents.

As the name would imply, this is a gel formula that can be used on the cheeks or lips. Its twist up packaging allows it to do both fairly easily but for cleanliness reasons, I prefer to use my finger to apply it. I LOVE cream blushes so I was very excited to try this one out. Unfortunately, it’s not what I wanted. It’s creamy and blends easily on the cheeks but it’s not pigmented. I had to build and build and build it to get any kind of color pay off. I would like to note, I wear cream blushes when I go foundation free. Having a foundation base may make this blush more pigmented BUT I have other cream blushes that show up just fine on my bare skin. This formula also has almost no staying power. If you wear a mask or touch your face, this blush will disappear.

This product wasn’t good on the lips either. As most lip/cheek combo sticks are, this one was too creamy for the cheeks but too dry for the lips. Like with the cheeks, the pigment just wasn’t there. I’m wearing it on my cheeks and lips in the picture above and that’s basically what my lips look like naturally. Anybody with deeper skin or lips than mine won’t be able to make this work. Blackberry Crush is the deepest shade option sooo in conclusion, this range is a joke.

Final Thoughts:

This was such a disappointing product. I love the idea of a travel friendly lip and cheek product but this one isn’t it. What do you think? Thanks for reading and have a great day!
