It’s almost time for spring and I don’t know about you but I’m excited! That is, I’m excited for the few weeks of wonderful weather we’ll have here in Alabama before it’s boiling hot for five months. Other than fall, spring is my favorite time of year to create content so let’s talk about what I have planned for March!

Books:

I am extremely excited because on the 2nd of the month, Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare is being released. This book is the second in The Last Hours series; the first was Chain of Gold. Cassandra Clare has been an auto buy author for me since I was sixteen so of course, I have it pre-ordered. I plan to start reading as soon as it arrives but it is a MASSIVE book so my review might go up the week after it releases. Either before or after Chain of Iron, I will be reviewing The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson. I’ll go ahead and say, The Year of the Witching is my first five star read of 2021; it’s so, so good. Other than these two, I’m not sure what I’ll be reviewing. I’ve been on a major fantasy and romance kick but I’m starting to miss my historical fictions so who knows what I’ll end up choosing. I’ve also been reading and reviewing shorter books exclusively on my Goodreads. You can follow me there if you’d like to keep up with everything I read. 

Makeup & Skincare:

As usual, I have almost no idea what I’ll actually end up reviewing in the coming month. I do know my first review will be for the Profusion Minimalist Palette. I’m also testing out quite a bit from Pacifica, more than what’s pictured above, and I hope to have all of that reviewed very soon. I have some new things from quite a few other brands, as well. Over the past few months, I’ve acquired quite a few bags from Modern & Chic. When I was looking for reviews on the different ones available, I realized there weren’t many out there so of course, I decided to review them. I’m not sure if I’ll do a different post for each bag but I’ll be reviewing them all at some point. Please let me know if bag and wallet reviews are something you’re interested in!
