April Wrap Up!

April was a good month for me and I hope it was for all of you, as well! We celebrated Easter and it was my son’s first so the holiday was even more special than usual. Things didn’t quite go as planned, as far as blog posts, this month but I’m hoping to catch up over the next few weeks. Let’s talk about what I have planned for May!

📚Books:

I had planned to only review Egyptian nonfiction and fiction in April but that, unfortunately, didn’t happen. I did review The Woman Who Would Be King by Kara Cooney but that was the only Egypt related book I got to. I was sent an ARC for Small Favors by Erin A. Craig so I wanted to get a review up for that and other things just got in the way. However, I’m planning to get back on it in May; starting with The Hippopotamus Marsh by Pauline Gedge. This is book one of The Lord of the Lands trilogy and I’m LOVING it so far! I will also be reviewing The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout, book three in the From Blood and Ash series… spoiler, I hated it😬 I hope I can actually get through all of these books in the coming month because they’re quite hefty.

I have been all about the makeup lately. For awhile, I wasn’t interested in anything but that has definitely changed over the past month. I am testing out a TON of products from Undone Beauty but those reviews probably won’t happen until June. I’m also trying out a bunch of random products. The only reviews, as of now, that are coming in May is for my stuff from Nabla. I also plan to do a full makeup collection tour! The best way to see what I’m using and let me know what you want reviewed first is to follow my Instagram.

💕Thank you!

I typically would let you know what bonus posts I hope to do but I haven’t managed to put up bonus content in months🙃 Hopefully, I’ll have time in May but we’ll see. Other than that, I’m now at 876 followers and I appreciate you all so very much! If you’d like, you can also follow me on InstagramTwitterFacebookGoodreads or Pinterest. I hope you all have a great May. Thanks for reading!
