My Perfect Winter Palette Using Single Shadows!

I have a decent sized single eyeshadow collection that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, they tend to get overlooked because palettes can just be easier to grab for. I want to change that this year, though, and I decided to start with a winter/Christmas themed palette. I was going to talk about this before Christmas but ran out of time.

I was heavily inspired by the Oden’s Eye holiday collection that is now discontinued. I was going to buy both of the palettes they released but the fact that they were SO limited edition turned me off from buying them. I’m glad I didn’t because this palette really filled that void. 

I’m not going to technically review this palette, but I will show you swatches, describe the shades and show you the looks I created. The majority of these shadows are from Looxi Beauty but a few are from ShopMissa, Coloured Raine and Colourpop. I tried to use newer shadows but of the thirty, nine have been discontinued. I also didn’t use every shade in the palette, like I typically do, but since this isn’t a review, I don’t think that really matters.

For the swatch pictures, I took them using flash and the swatches go from left to right. Let’s talk about them!

• Looxi Get Naked– nude champagne shimmer
• Looxi Glass Slipper *discontinued 
• Looxi Cookie Dough– iridescent shifts of pink, blue, purple & gold (This shadow looks primarily white with blue sparkles)
• Looxi Ube– purple with pink, blue and green shifts
• Looxi Howl at the Moon– yellow with shifts of green and reddish pink

• Looxi Gingerbread– pink with shifts of turquoise, purple & red
• Looxi Bubblegum– pink shimmer with shifts of green, purple & gold
• Looxi Blitzen *discontinued
• Looxi Angel Wings– peachy orange that shifts to a multitude of colors from purple, blue, gold & bronze
• Looxi Snickerdoodle– silvery green shade with shifts of pink, red, purple, turquoise & gold

• Looxi Morning Rain– green with a blue shift
• Looxi Once Upon a Time– blue with shifts of purple and turquoise
• Looxi Painted Lady– purple with shifts of blue and silver
• Looxi Huff n Puff– midnight blue with shifts of purple and brown

• Looxi Dragonslayer– green with shifts of gold, blue, and purple
• Looxi Catty Pillar– orange with shifts of gold, green & reddish pink

1. I blended Colourpop Lost and Found above my crease.
2. I blended Looxi Carribean Blue into my crease and smudged it on my lower lash line.
3. I deepened my crease with Looxi Complicated. I also applied it on my water line.
4. I applied Looxi Huff n Puff on the outer part of my lid.
5. I applied Looxi Morning Rain on the inner part of my lid.
6. I applied Looxi Ube in my inner corner.
7. I applied Looxi Cookie Dough in my inner corner.

1. I blended Colourpop Lost and Found into my crease and smudged it on my lower lash line.
2. I lightly blended Depotted Coloured Raine Matte Brown into my crease and on my lower lash line.
3. I applied Looxi Snickerdoodle on my lid.
4. I applied Looxi Gingerbread on the innermost part of my lid and on my water line. 
5. I applied Looxi Cookie Dough in my inner corner.

*I also applied the L.A. Girl Pastel Liner in Baby Pink on my water line. 

1. I blended Looxi Matcha into my crease.
2. I applied Looxi Dragonslayer on my lid.
3. I applied Looxi Howl at the Moon on the innermost part of my lid.
4. I applied Looxi Get Naked in my inner corner.
5. I applied ShopMissA Midnight on my water line.
6. I smudged Looxi Heartthrob on my lower lash line.

1. I blended ShopMissA Empower above my crease.
2. I blended Depotted Coloured Raine Matte Brown into my crease and applied it on my water line.
3. I applied Looxi Catty Pillar on my lid.
4. I applied Looxi Angel Wings on the innermost part of my lid.
5. I applied Looxi Glass Slipper and Howl at the Moon in my inner corner.
6. I smudged Looxi Matcha on my lower lash line.

1. I blended ShopMissA Forbidden above my crease and applied it in my water line.
2. I blended Looxi Midnight Violet into my crease.
3. I blended Looxi Complicated into my crease.
4. I applied Looxi Painted Lady on my lid and smudged it on my water line.
5. I applied Looxi Huff n Puff on my lid and smudged it on my water line..
6. I tapped Looxi Once Upon a Time across my lid.
7. I applied Looxi Once Upon a Time and Cookie Dough in my inner corner.
