Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer and Foundation Review

Well I finally got it. I finally bought the new Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer and Foundation. Literally every beauty YouTuber is in love with this stuff. Needless to say, I was so excited to get these and try them out. I bought my concealer in the shade Light Ivory and my foundation in the shade Porcelain. The concealer is $3.99 and the foundation is $5.99.

Like I said I was so excited. However, that was very short lived. I really didn’t like either of these. The concealer was just okay. On me it was too dark and the coverage just wasn’t what I need from a concealer. It had a very thin consistency and was just very meh. The foundation started off great. It was an absolute perfect shade match to my skin. I typically use the  e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation, but it’s really about half a shade too dark for me so I was very excited that this one was an actual Porcelain color. My main issues with this foundation is the consistency and coverage. Like the concealer it has a very thin, watery consistency and does not offer enough coverage for my acne, dark circles and discoloration. It also caked up on every dry spot I had and just looked awful. I tried putting this on with my fingers and then with a sponge and nothing would blend it right. I want a foundation that I can put on in any way and it look flawless. To give this foundation the benefit of the doubt, maybe it just didn’t mix well with my e.l.f. primer.

I’m not sure what the problem was. I really wanted to love these. If you have these and love them please tell me how you apply them, make them work, etc. That’s pretty much all I have to say about these. If you enjoyed this please leave a like, comment and follow me. It is very much appreciated! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

*I tried the foundation again (multiple times) and have some new thoughts so check out my updated review!
