It’s been awhile since I talked about my deodorant and who doesn’t want to read about that? Seriously though, I have been searching for a deodorant that is cheap, aluminum free, paraben free and cruelty free for months. I’ve used Tom’s of Maine Deodorant and I just didn’t feel confident in it’s ability to cover body odor. After Tom’s I’ve been using Arm & Hammer Essentials Unscented Deodorant and it was just okay. It worked well but I’m pretty sure it’s not cruelty free, it claimed to be unscented but smelled like lemons and after a workout or just a lot of sweat it would burn my under arms and make them red. So, I needed something new. I was looking at Wal-Mart and noticed a roll on deodorant called Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal. It is unscented and free of: aluminum chlorohydrate, parabens, fragrance and cruelty.  I paid around $3.00 for it but on Amazon it is around $7.00.

This deodorant is awesome! First, it is actually unscented like it claims to be. Scent isn’t a big deal to me but it is for some people. Second, it actually works at keeping away body odor. Sometimes more natural deodorants struggle to cover odor. I’ve worn this to the gym, all day running errands and just out in the Alabama summer heat and did not have to reapply one time. Third, it doesn’t burn. I do have sensitive skin and some deodorants really bother me but this didn’t. Fourth, it is a roll on deodorant so it’s pure liquid but it is very quick drying and does not stain clothes.

If you are looking for a more natural deodorant that is cruelty free I can not recommend this enough. It’s not the most chemical free option out there but it actually keeps away body odor and it’s affordable.
