e.l.f. Cosmetics releases new products almost every day so I have bought a ton of them. Most of them I’m going to have to try for a while to really get a feel for what works and what doesn’t. Their new Pore Refining Primer Mask was something I could review pretty quick since it’s just a one time use. This was an impulse purchase just to reach the free shipping amount and it is $2.00.

I do have very large pores so I hoped this might make them less noticeable but honestly it didn’t really do anything. In fact it kind of burned and stung my skin, especially around my nose. My foundation also seemed to not want to stay on my face. I don’t use primers very often but when I used this mask I was also trying out two other new primers in different areas of my face. My foundation break down could have been caused by this, one of the other new primers or a combination of all three. This mask does smell very nice but that’s really the only positive.

Even for $2.00 I wouldn’t recommend this because it just doesn’t do anything positive for my skin. If you’ve tried this out I would love to know what your experience with it was! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
