I was so excited when Faith Hogan contacted me to see if I would like to take part in the blog tour for her newest book, What Happened to Us?. I’ve reviewed one of her other books, The Girl I Used to Know, and I absolutely loved it so I had very high hopes for this book; luckily, I was not disappointed. I’m going to let you know all the information about this book and where you can purchase it then I’ll get into my thoughts. This review will be spoiler free.
About the author:
Faith was born in Ireland and currently lives there with her husband, four children and two fussy cats. She gained an Honors Degree in English Literature and Psychology from Dublin City University and a Postgraduate from University College, Galway. She was a winner in the 2014 Irish Writers Centre Novel Fair- an international competition for emerging writers. When she’s not writing, she’s an enthusiastic dog walker and reluctant jogger.

My Thoughts
As I said above, this book did not disappoint me. One thing I love the most about Hogan’s writing style is how the characters are just so relatable and real. There is no totally perfect or totally evil characters, just flawed ones that are a mix of good and bad like people in real life. Hogan is also wonderful at pacing her stories well so that the reader is never bored. I finished this book quickly because I just couldn’t put it down. I also loved the realistic happy ending. Life isn’t always perfect and not everybody gets a total “happy ending.”
That is as much as I feel comfortable saying so that I don’t give away any spoilers. If you’re a fan of women’s fiction I highly, highly recommend this book and any book by Faith Hogan.
