March really got away from me. I had plans for some bonus content but that just didn’t happen… I barely got my regular content up😂 As my son becomes more mobile, my days are becoming MUCH busier. Let’s pray, though, that April is full of good naps for him so I can actually get things done🙃 Let’s talk about what I hope to accomplish this month!

📚Books:

April is going to be a VERY book review heavy month. I’m wanting to primarily focus on ancient Egypt, fiction and nonfiction. I’m going to start with The Woman Who Would Be King by Kara Cooney. This is a nonfiction book about Hatshepsut. For fiction, I’ve ordered The Lord of the Two Lands trilogy by Pauline Gedge. My favorite ancient Egyptian fiction book, The Twelfth Transforming, is also by Gedge so I have high hopes for this trilogy. I also would like to fit in The Search for Nefertiti by Dr. Joann Fletcher at some point. Other than ancient Egypt related books, The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout releases at the end of the month. This is the third book in the New Adult fantasy Blood and Ash series. I’ll be reading it, as well. There will be much more book than makeup content and I hope that’s good with all of you.

💄Makeup & Skincare:

Makeup has been so unbelievably boring to me lately. I haven’t bought anything new in over a month. The last product I purchased was the Colourpop The Mandalorian Palette but I haven’t had time to try it yet. For April, I plan to have reviews up for the Nabla Dreamy 2 Palette and some lipsticks from them. I also plan to review a couple of the L.A. Girl Pastel Dream Eyeliners. Other than that, it’s probably just going to be skincare reviews. As always, the best way to see what I’m using and let me know what you want reviewed first is to follow my Instagram.

✨Bonus Posts:

My goal is always to put up at least two bonus posts a month. Sometimes just one goes up, sometimes none goes up. I had wanted to review a couple of my bags from Modern+Chic in March but that, unfortunately, didn’t happen. Hopefully in April I can get those reviews up because Modern+Chic actually added me to their affiliate program and I want to tell you guys about it😊 I would also like to do a more lifestyle/religious post about my son’s dedication. That post is my priority and will be up by next week.
