Heritage Store Rosewater Toner & Facial Spray Reviews

The Heritage Store is a brand I haven’t tried much from but I’m interested in. Their Castor Oil is one of my holy grails and really the only oil I use on a regular basis. I tried their Rosewater Toner at the beginning of last year and wasn’t overly impressed but when the brand was buy one, get one half off at Ulta, I decided to try it again. I also decided to try their Rosewater Facial Spray. For reference, my skin is combination with occasional acne.

The Rosewater Facial Toner is $11.79 for 8 ounces of product. It contains hyaluronic acid, rose petal essence and aloe vera; all ingredients great for skin hydration. It does not contain alcohol, parabens, sulfates or phthalates. It has an overall good formula but be aware that it contains rose essential oil and this can be sensitizing to some people. This toner honestly confuses me because despite its hydrating ingredients, it leaves my skin feeling dry. At best, it does nothing for me and at worst, it breaks me out. I can’t say for sure that it was this product but I did struggle with multiple acne bumps and clogged pores while using it. I just really don’t recommend it. Better toners are the Derma E Radiance or the Pacifica Cosmic Renew AHA & Hemp Tonic.

The Rosewater Facial Spray is $10.29 for 8 ounces of product. It contains hydroessential rose oil and Vor-mag Water. Vor-mag Water is water that has been vortexed and magnetized to raise the energy to a higher vibration… sure thing, buddy🙄 It also does not contain alcohol, parabens, sulfates or phthalates. Basically this is water with some rose essential oil thrown in. I wanted to try it to see if I liked it more than my Mario Badescu Rosewater Spray, my go to for years. I do not. The Mario Badescu spray seems to actually hydrate my skin while this does literally nothing. I do not recommend it.

Final Thoughts:

I haven’t did any skincare reviews in quite awhile so I hate that these reviews are negative. I DO have some great skincare finds, though, that I’ll be able to tell you about next week! Let me know if you’ve tried these products and what you thought about them. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
