Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Waterproof Mascara Review

25

I buy and try A LOT of makeup so it can take me awhile to get around to reviewing everything. In my end of the year makeup favorites post for 2020, I mentioned the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Waterproof Mascara. It was the only product that I hadn’t written a dedicated review for. If I mention something on the blog, I like to have an actual review to link back to so that’s what I’m doing today.

I’ve been using this mascara, in the shade Very Black, since the summer of last year. The price varies by where you purchase it but at WalMart it is $6.00 and you get 0.44 fluid ounces of product. Covergirl mascaras are my go to because you get a ton of product for the price and their formulas are really good. The formula of this one is no exception. It doesn’t do anything spectacular for my lashes as far as adding volume or length BUT it does exactly what I want it to, stay in place. This mascara is completely waterproof. I unfortunately had to wear it to two funerals where I cried quite a bit and it didn’t budge. It’s also held up in the summer heat and doesn’t smudge against my more moisturizing foundations; as some mascaras do. It has a thin wand with rubber bristles and is super easy to apply. I don’t find it to be clumpy but I also don’t apply more than two layers. It’s overall an excellent mascara and I really recommend it.

Final Thoughts:

If you have struggled to find a mascara that will last through sweat or water, try this one. However, if you’re not really into waterproof mascaras, check out my review for the Covergirl Flourish. It’s my go to for most days. Let me know what your mascara favorites are! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
