Unlike most people, I don’t love the e.l.f. Putty Blushes. I really liked them when I first tried them but after using other cream blush formulas, I realized they just weren’t what I wanted. I found them to be stiff and dry. However, I was intrigued when they released Luminous Putty Blushes and decided to pick one up.
The Luminous Putty Blushes are $7.00 and contain 0.35 ounces of product; the same as the originals. There are currently six shades available and I chose the lightest, Maui. It’s a beautiful pinky mauve with shimmer throughout.
To keep this review short and sweet, if you like the original Putty Blushes, you will probably like these. I love the shade I chose, the glow it gives and its lasting power. However, I found this formula to be stiff and dry. I also found the glitter particles to be very noticeable, especially over my pores and texture. This isn’t a bad blush but I could see myself decluttering it in the future.
Final Thoughts:
If you want a glowy cream blush with no glitter, I can’t recommend the Half Caked Candy Paint Blushes enough. That formula is a bit more sticky than the e.l.f. but I still find it to be better overall. If you’ve tried the Luminous Putty Blushes, I’d love to know what you think about them! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
