Thank the good Lord above, August is at an end! I hate summer and even though it’s still very hot outside, September means it’s now fall in my household. My 27th birthday was on the 7th and that was really the only highlight of the month. I am very excited for the -ber months so let’s talk about what I have planned for September!

Books

Most of the book reviews in September will be finishing up two series that I started reviewing in August. The first review will be for Dark Harmony by Laura Thalassa. It’s the last book in The Bargainer series that started with Rhapsodic. The second and third reviews will be for Shelter of the Most High and Until the Mountains Fall by Connilyn Cossette.  They are in the Cities of Refuge series that started with A Light on the Hill. That leaves just one more book review for September but I haven’t decided what that will be just yet.

Makeup & Skincare

It was my birthday this month so of course, I bought some makeup. I put together a post showing everything I bought and why I chose what I did. If you’d like to see it, just click here. That will give you a pretty good idea of everything I’m planning to review over the next few months. I also had quite a few things that I was trying out before my birthday so I have PLENTY to review and play with. I’m not planning to make anymore makeup purchases until September 19th. That is during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale and when the Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipsticks go half off, from $18.00 to $9.00. I love that formula but I never pay full price for it. Other than that, I’m completely content with my makeup collection right now. I’m starting off September with some skincare reviews and the first palette reviews of the month will be for the essence Crystal Iced and Spiritual Gangster Palettes. If there’s something I purchased that you would like to see reviewed sooner rather than later, just let me know!

Video Games

My August video game review and makeup look was for Dark Parables: The Little Mermaid and the Purple Tide. That isn’t my favorite game but I LOVE the makeup look I ended up creating for it, just click that link if you missed it. In September, I’ll be reviewing the next game in the series, Dark Parables: Queen of Sands. I’ll be honest, it’s been so long since I played this game that all I remember about it is that I didn’t like it. I hope when I play it again this month that I enjoy it more.
